So this announcement, was published on April 17th:

It's now, May 6th. It's going to be 3 weeks soon.
We were on vacation when the announcement hit. And the following week, it was a short week (a holiday and a vacation day as Quentin's uncles were visiting).
Really, the first week at work was last week (also a short one b/c of May 1st).
All meetings have dropped from my calendar. I have nothing left in my calendar.
My manager has told me that I, basically, don't have a job any more and thus I should start looking around.
Monday, I went to the office.
I did some training and read the newspaper in the morning.
In the afternoon, it was boring... very much so!
Tuesday, I went to the office.
I did some more training + read newspaper in the morning.
Having lunch with 2 of my colleagues was the highlight of the day
Afternoon, I was so bored that I started searching for MBA's... maybe it would a good idea since I might need to confront the external market to find a job (am I ready? what type of position would I like to have?). I sent a few request for information.
Wed, thanks god, it was a holiday, no need to go to the office :)
Thursday, I WFH in the morning. At least, at home, I can do house chores... oh, my god, am I at that level?!!
I went to the office for a lunch appointment. The colleague, I was meeting for lunch, knew one of the business schools I was enquiring about for the MBA. He was very supportive; it seems like a very good idea.... maybe I'm on to something...
Stayed in the office in the afternoon... more training... I discovered that an internal website that consolidates training also includes external training. Good discovery! Linda is called. I've started a training on Financial Modelling.
I had a meeting with CHD Controller, here in Munich. No jobs available. A sabbatical coverage if interested... 9 weeks during the summer. Am I interested?
He doesn't think I need a MBA; it could be good but the experience is more valuable. Advice to test the strenght of my profile by appliying to some job offer... it sounds like a good advice except that I'd like to have a look at my package before starting to apply externally.
Friday WFH - more house chores
I get an email at the end of the day from OBS Business School, Universidad de Barcelona.
I'm accepted in their Executive MBA and they give me a grant that reduces the cost. WOW, how did this happen so fast?!
The additional good news this week is that I've taken back the German courses and Duolingo is happy with my progress ;)
